Each year, Imagina Menlo Daycare well-lit classrooms warmly welcome young children, treating them as "honored guests" in a vibrant environment.
At Imagina Menlo Daycare, we empower children to take an active role in their learning journey. Our classrooms are filled with blocks, paint, sand, water, and clay, serving not only as outlets for their boundless imaginations but also as tools through which they can shape and comprehend their worlds.
Enrollment at Imagina Menlo Daycare is open to children 0 to 5 years old, operating under the Menlo Park School District academic calendar. Sessions are available for half-day mornings or afternoons.
Importantly, Imagina Menlo Daycarel maintains a commitment to non-discrimination, embracing diversity without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, marital or family status, political beliefs, or parental status.
Peques (0 to 2 years old)
This program encourages the growth of independence and social awareness, sensory exploration, the development of physical skills and language development.
Mayores (2 to 5 years ol)
This program is meticulously crafted to foster a harmonious blend of child-initiated and teacher-facilitated activities, offering children an array of choices within thoughtfully prepared indoor and outdoor environments. The program places a strong emphasis on learning through play, creating an atmosphere that promotes discovery, independence, and social interaction.
To nurture self-esteem and social competence, children are actively encouraged to take initiative, help themselves, and progressively develop independence. The environment encompasses a diverse range of activities, including art, dramatic play, unit blocks, manipulatives, language arts, books, music, water and sand play, construction of large structures, gardening, running, climbing, animal care, and various large and small motor activities. Our overarching goal is to stimulate each child's innate curiosity and passion for learning. We believe in the significance of active participation in the learning process, providing numerous opportunities for hands-on learning that facilitate both indirect and direct acquisition of new knowledge and skills.
